    OXNARD SCHOOL DISTRICT
    BID #25-10 – RITCHEN SCHOOL ROOFING IMPROVEMENT PROJECT 2026
    NOTICE TO ALL CONTRACTORS SUBMITTING BIDS FOR THIS WORK:
    You are hereby notified of the following changes, clarifications or modifications to the original Contract
    Documents, Project Manual, Drawings, Specifications, and subsequent Addenda. This Addendum shall
    supersede the original; Contract Documents, and previous Addenda wherein it contradicts the same and shall
    take precedence over anything to the contrary therein. All other conditions remain unchanged.
    CHANGES AND/OR CLARIFICATIONS TO THE PROJECT MANUAL, CONTRACT DOCUMENTS, DRAWINGS AND
    SPECIFICATIONS:
    CLARIFICATION/CHANGES/ADDITIONS TO THE PROJECT MANUAL:
    1. Include in base bid a $40,000 allowance for damaged wood replacement at Ritchen School.
    2. Install vertical Kynar “L” metal panels at designated metal wall panel to stucco terminations; see map
    for locations. “L” panels are to be a minimum of 8”x8” by height of wall. Include underlayment and
    sealants as needed. Submit shop drawing for review and approval. Color to be selected by Owner
    3. See Attached map for coping replacement areas.
    QUESTIONS AND ANSWERS:
    1. Page 10 of 17 Per 2.8 “Roof Insulation and Insulation Accessories” B. Roof Insulation c. is calling
    No insulation size” and ¼” dens deck but on page 12 of 15 the spec’s is calling for 1” see D.2 can you
    please confirm will it be 2.5” or 1”?
    A: Per the specification the total thickness of Polyiso insulation is 1”. Coverboard is ¼”
    2. Per 075416 page 10 of 15 2.9 Walkway Materials we need a walk pad layout or liner feet so we all could
    bid apples to apples?
    See page 14 of 15 3.8 Walkway Installation calling to install walk pad at all rooftop units and roof hatch
    with a walkway path from roof hatch to all roof tops (HVAC units) provide walk pad layout?
    A: Duplicate question. See addendum for clarification
    3. At walls where there is wall panels there is no counterflashing do we install a skirt metal?
    With new insulation the Base flashing at wall is going to be around 4" will that be acceptable?
    A: Yes, skirt metal is required where missing.
    Yes, 4-6” base flashing have been approved
    4. At existing duct supports has L brackets can you provide a detail so we all bid apples to apples?
    A: See 3.7 Item C
