ADVERTISEMENT FOR BIDS
Sealed Bids for the construction of the STERLING BUSINESS & TECHNOLOGY PARK WWTP UPGRADES -Contract 2 project, will be received online via the PennBid Program, by WAYNE ECONOMIC DEVELOPMENT CORPORATION, until 11:00 A.M. local time on 8/12/25, at which time the bids will be electronically opened and publicly read aloud and tabulated, shortly after which a notice will be posted on PennBid’s website. containing the bid results. The Project consists of Installation of pre-purchased MBR equipment, relocation of existing equipment and construction of new wastewater tanks. and related mechanical, electrical, structural and plumbing work for improvements to the existing WEDCO Wastewater Treatment Plant. Bids will be received for a single prime Contract. Bids shall be on a lump sum basis as indicated in the Online Bid Form.

A non-mandatory pre-bid conference will be held at the Project Site on Wednesday, 7/30/25 at 2:00 p.m.
Bid security shall be furnished in accordance with the Instructions to Bidders. The successful bidder will be required to provide a Performance Bond in the amount of 100% of the Contract.
The following wage rate requirements are applicable to this contract: PA Prevailing Wage Rates.
This project is funded in part by a PA SITES grant from the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania and a County grant from Wayne County.
