Wyoming Street Improvements - Phase 2

Project Description: Notice is hereby given that City of Hazleton will receive sealed bids online via the PennBid Program (http://pennbid.bonfirehub.com) until 11:00 A.M, prevailing time on Monday, August 25, 2025, for the Wyoming Street Improvements – Phase 2 project, at which time the bids received will be opened via PennBid. The work includes but is not limited to all labor, materials, tools, and oversight for mobilization, sidewalk and curb replacement, bituminous paving, ADA curb ramps, lighting, street trees, inlet adjustments, and maintenance and protection of traffic.
All bidding documents will be available online at no cost via the PennBid Program (http://pennbid.bonfirehub.com) beginning at 12:00 P.M. on Friday, August 8, 2025.
Bids must be accompanied by a bid bond with a corporate surety authorized to do business in Pennsylvania, in accordance with the project specifications in the amount of 10% of the total bid amount.
A Performance Bond in the amount of 100% of the contract shall be furnished by the successful bidder as detailed in the Instructions to Bidders.
Davis Bacon Wage Rates shall apply to this contract.
All Prime Contractor Bidders must be PennDOT Prequalified as a Prime Contractor and for the tasks they complete, and all subcontractors must be PennDOT Prequalified as a Sub-Contractor for the tasks assigned.
Immediately following the due date and time, all bids received through PennBid will be opened online and referred to the City of Hazleton for final award. An abstract of the bids received will be available to bidders on PennBid following the date and time that bids are due as indicated above.
Questions may be submitted through PennBid’s “Messages/Public Q&A” tab on or before noon on Monday, August 18, 2025. Responses will be provided via PennBid to all registered parties.
