Request for Proposals - State and Federal Governmental Relations & Lobbying Services

The City of Lake Oswego is seeking proposals from qualified and experienced firms or individuals for State and Federal Governmental Relations & Lobbying Services on behalf of the City. The City’s goal is to further advance tactful strategy that ensures a strong voice in state and federal legislative and policy initiatives that impact the City of Lake Oswego and its community objectives, as well as to secure state and federal funds for Lake Oswego priorities.

The selected partner will work closely with City’s leadership team to develop and execute a comprehensive, dual-track (State & Federal) government affairs strategy. Ideal candidates will offer representation in both Salem, OR and Washington, DC, demonstrating a deep understanding of the Oregon Legislature, the federal budget process, and the regulatory issues impacting municipal governments, with a specific focus on advancing the unique needs and strategic interests of Lake Oswego.

Deadline for Submission of Proposals: October 16 at 2:00 PM. Submissions received after this time will be considered non-responsive and will be returned without review.
