ONE (1) F-350 DRW 4X2 REGULAR CAB WITH UTILITY BODY TO THE
CITY OF REDDING, CALIFORNIA

In accordance with the provisions of the Municipal Code of the City of Redding, sealed bids will be
received by City Clerk’s third floor office at City Hall, 777 Cypress Avenue, Redding, California 96001-2718,
until 3:00 p.m. PT, Tuesday, November 25, 2025, for furnishing and delivering to the City of Redding, One (1)
F-350 DRW 4X2 REGULAR CAB WITH UTILITY BODY per the bid specifications and general conditions.
BIDS RECEIVED AFTER THIS TIME AND DATE WILL NOT BE ACCEPTED OR CONSIDERED.
The said bids will be opened at 3:00 p.m. PT, on Tuesday, November 25, 2025, in the designated City
Hall Conference Room as posted in the main lobby of City Hall, 777 Cypress Avenue, Redding, California.
All bids must be submitted on standard bid forms provided by the City of Redding. The bidder shall
provide the original (unbound) and one (1) copy of the bid proposal. Fax or electronic submission of bid
proposals will not be allowed. The City will award any resulting contract in a manner consistent with the City
purchasing ordinance.
The cut-off date and time for receiving questions regarding this bid is 3:00 p.m. PT, on
Tuesday, November 11, 2025. All inquiries must be made in writing and may be submitted to the email
address shown below.

the responsibility of the potential bidder to advise the assigned City of Redding

The prices quoted herein are firm, and are not subject to change. The City reserves the right to
reject any or all bids and to waive minor irregularities.
It is understood that this bid shall remain open and shall not be withdrawn for a period of sixty
(60) days from the date prescribed for the opening of the bid.
It is further agreed that the vehicle to be furnished under this proposal will be delivered f.o.b.
City of Redding, Redding, California, with supplier paying any and all shipping or delivery costs,

SPECIFICATIONS FOR
One 1 TON, F-350 DRW 4X2 REGULAR CAB WITH UTILITY BODY
The City of Redding invites bids for one current model, new, unused 1 ton, F-350 4X2 regular cab DRW pickup
truck white with 8’ utility body. Truck shall be a Ford F-350 DRW with Scelzi Body SBD-98-96-51-38-V0, or City
approved equal. Truck shall meet current California State and Federal standards for safety, emissions, and noise.
Truck will come with California State exempt license plates and registration. Truck should meet the minimum
following specifications:
WHEELBASE: Approximately142” or as required by body manufacturer.

GVWR: 14,000 lbs. payload package.
AXLES: Standard production capacity with equivalent springs and
shock absorbers for rating. Limited slip axle ratio of 4.30 to 1

Full adjustable 40/20/40 vinyl split bench seats with
retractable seat belts. Power group and back up camera. Two
(2) below eye-line mirrors, mirrors must be able to
accommodate effective use around service utility body. Truck
to be painted standard production white.
TRANSMISSION: TorqShift G-10 speed Automatic or similar.
FUEL CAPACITY: Maximum standard production but not less than 34 gallons.
ELECTRICAL: ALTERNATOR: Maximum standard production but not less
than 150 amps.
BATTERY: 12-volt; 750-CCA/68-amp-hr (minimum)
