Project Description: Sealed Bids for the construction of the COLLINS COURT PIPE REPLACEMENT will be received online via
the PennBid Program, by THROOP BOROUGH, until 11:00 AM local time on MAY 16, 2025, at which time
the bids will be opened electronically and shortly after which, bid tabulation results will be publicly
posted on PennBid’s website. The Project consists of the replacement of existing 48” CMP storm pipe
with approximately 630 feet of 60” Thermoplastic Storm Pipe, 7 inlet structures, 4 headwall/endwall
structures and associated work.
Bids will be received for a single prime Contract. Bids shall be on a unit price basis as indicated in the Bid
Form.

A MANDATORY PRE-BID CONFERENCE will be held on MAY 1, 2025, AT 10:00 AM AT THE THROOP
BOROUGH MUNICIPAL BUILDING, 436 Sanderson Street, Throop, PA 18512. Attendance at the pre-bid
conference is MANDATORY.
Bid security shall be furnished in accordance with the Instructions to Bidders. The successful bidder will
be required to provide a Performance Bond in the amount of 100% of the Contract.
The following wage rate requirements are applicable to this contract: PA Prevailing Wage Rates
