Muncy’s Crossroads Corner Park

Project Description: Muncy Borough requests bids electronically via PennBid for construction at Muncy’s Crossroads Corner Park. The space is a highly visible public park in the heart of the community. The scope of work for the Park will include the construction of the following:
o Surface and Subsurface Soil Enhancements
o ADA Accessible Plaza
o Landscaping and Landscape Plantings
Muncy’s Crossroads Corner Park is a 0.13-acre public park accessed by East Water Street / Route 405, and located on the north-east corner of the signalized intersection of Water Street and Main Street in Muncy Borough, Lycoming County, Pennsylvania. The Park construction is graphically indicated within the construction documents plan set on sheets Cover Sheet and Sheets 1-8. The Contractors and or Subcontractors are required to submit a Contractor’s Qualifications Statement and a list of relevant completed projects and references with their bid detailing a minimum of five years of experience in site grading and park, recreation and landscape development work. Contractors may bid on all or part of the work outlined in the scope of this project.
Construction and Bid Documents are available to prospective contractors at no cost on PennBid (https://pennbid.net)
Addenda, if any, will be issued only to those persons who have expressed an interest in submitting a bid. Questions regarding the Plans and Bid Documents shall be submitted via the “Clarifications” feature in PennBid no later than 7 days prior to the due date and time listed.
A Mandatory Pre-Bid Meeting and Site Visit will be held for all interested Contractors on Friday, May 5, 2025, 10AM, at the project site.
Bids shall be submitted electronically via PennBid before Noon on Monday, May 19, 2025, at which time Bids will be opened with results publicly displayed on PennBid shortly thereafter. Muncy Borough may hold bids for thirty days from the date of opening bids for the purpose of reviewing the bids and investigating the qualifications of bidders, prior to awarding the contract. Muncy Borough reserves the right to accept or reject any or all bids, and to waive any irregularities.
