Interstate Chemicals Clearinghouse Membership

The Minnesota Pollution Control Agency (MPCA) intends to purchase a twelve‑month membership to the Interstate Chemicals Clearinghouse (IC2), covering July 2026 through June 2027.

This membership is essential for developing and implementing programs that promote the use of safer chemicals and products. It supports the development of alternative assessment methods, facilitates data and strategy sharing for hazard evaluation, and advances chemical‑prioritization initiatives. The membership also provides access to chemical databases used by MPCA and Minnesota Department of Health (MDH) staff in implementing Amara’s Law.

This purchase qualifies as a single source because IC2 is a unique association of state, local, and tribal governments dedicated to promoting a clean environment, healthy communities, and a strong economy through safer chemical use. IC2’s database integrates resources and expertise from environmental agencies nationwide and is not available through any other organization.
