Description
NOTICE OF PROPOSED PROCUREMENT
The Department of National Defence (DND) has a requirement for the items detailed below:
Item 1:
GSIN: N1305 – Ammunition, through 30 mm
UNSPSC: 46101601 – Defence or law enforcement ammunition
Description: Cartridge, 9mm JHP 147gr Ammunition
The requirement is for the supply to the Canadian Armed Forces (CAF) of Cartridge, 9mm JHP 147gr Ammunition. The cartridge is used with the Sig Sauer P225, P226 and P320 Pistols by the CAF Military Police Group in domestic operations and training.
Firm Quantity: 600,000 cartridges – Delivery to Canadian Forces Ammunition Depot (CFAD) Dundurn, Saskatchewan on or before 01 December 2025
400,000 cartridges – Delivery to CFAD Angus, Milton, Ontario on or before 01 December 2025
Optional Quantity: 600,000 cartridges – Delivery to Canadian Forces Ammunition Depot (CFAD) Dundurn, Saskatchewan between 01 June 2027 and 01 August 2027
400,000 cartridges – Delivery to CFAD Angus, Milton, Ontario between 01 June 2027 and 01 August 2027
Unit of Issue: Each, per cartridge
1. Security Requirements
There are no security requirements associated with this procurement.
2. Controlled Goods
This procurement may be subject to the Controlled Goods Program
3. The Crown retains the right to negotiate with suppliers on any procurement.
4. Documents may be submitted in either official language of Canada.
The estimated contract period will be 29 month(s), with a proposed start date of 2025/03/12.
