2023 SPLOST LMIG Street Improvements

NOTICE TO BIDDERS: Go to thomasville.org or GPR for the complete & unabbreviated Invitation to Bid. Below is an abbreviated version. Sealed bids for the City of Thomasville's 2023 SPLOST LMIG STREET IMPROVEMENTS project will be received until 10:00 AM local time on August 5, 2025, at the City Engineer¿s Office, 411 W. Jackson St., Thomasville, GA 31792 for public opening. No Bids may be withdrawn after the scheduled closing time for request of bids for a period of 60 days. Bidder shall be a certified GDOT contractor. Utility contractor must be licensed in the State of GA. Contractor will furnish all materials, labor, equipment & perform all work required to complete the project. This project consists of resurfacing, curb and gutter, storm water improvements, and water main replacements improvements to various streets such as Belmont Dr, Big Star Dr, Claire Dr, East Pastime Dr, East Walcott St, Falcon Dr, Friar Tuck Ln, Glen Arven Dr, Hayes St, Marshall St, Neel Pl, North Short Broad, Patterson Still Rd, Robin Dr, Tucwal St, Valwood Ave, Vine St, West Clay St, and Wildwood Ln. A complete set of plans, specs, & bid documents may be viewed at the City Engineer¿s Office (see address above) and obtained by emailing a request to jimmie.montgomery@thomasville.org AND vicki.harris@thomasville.org. Proposals will not be considered by Owner unless Bidder is on record as purchasing & receiving complete Bid Documents. Bids must be accompanied by a Certified Check or Bid Bond in the amount of not less than 10% of the Bid. If awarded the contract, bidder will submit separate Payment & Performance Bonds each for 100% of the Contract amount. Bids must be plainly marked ¿2023 SPLOST LMIG STREET IMPROVEMENTS¿ & must be delivered before the time specified.
