Orangewood Avenue Bridge Over the Santa Ana River

WORK DESCRIPTION : Widen the Orangewood Avenue Bridge over the Santa Ana River and retrofit the existing bridge foundations. Install Santa Ana River improvements and install a new waterline through the end of the bridge and within Orangewood Avenue. The work involves demolition of existing bridge and improvements, construction of new bridge widening and retaining structures, bike trail reconstruction, fencing, bridge lighting, paving, waterline construction, and other appurtenant work as shown on the approved plans and specifications. Work areas and laydown are limited to the bridge easement and temporary construction easement , in the Santa Ana River pursuant to the Corps of Engineers, CDFW, and County of Orange permits, and street right of way pursuant to Caltrans, City of Anaheim, and City of Orange permits.

Project location: Orangewood Avenue at the Santa Ana River and east to North Eckhoff Street. Work areas are limited to those areas identified on the temporary work easement and areas outlined within the various permits supplied for the project.
