REQUEST FOR QUALIFICATIONS
COUNTY ENGINEER SERVICES

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the County of Glenn (COUNTY) is soliciting Statements of Qualifications (SOQ) for County Engineer services. From this group of qualified individuals and firms the County intends to appoint a County Engineer. All services will be provided on an as needed basis as determined and directed by the Director of Public Works.

The Glenn County Public Works Agency is responsible for a wide range of infrastructure and maintenance services throughout the county. Its duties include maintaining and repairing roads, bridges, and drainage systems, managing solid waste disposal managing two general aviation airports, and providing emergency services during natural disasters. Additionally, the Public Works Agency plays a role in environmental and regulatory compliance concerning public works projects.

Submissions in response to this Request for Qualifications must be received by the Glenn County Public Works Agency no later than 12:00 p.m., Wednesday, January 27, 2025. Proposals received after the deadline will not be considered.

Except for questions that might render the award of this contract invalid, the County will not respond to any questions submitted after 5:00 p.m. on Wednesday, January 15, 2025.

The County of Glenn reserves the right to reject any or all proposals and to waive any informality in any submission.
