Questions & Answers No. 2
Issued: April 28, 2026
RFP #26-002-74
Transportation Services
(Aging Commission)
TO ALL PROSPECTIVE BIDDERS:
The following questions were submitted by potential bidders. Our answers are listed below in
red.
1. Professional Liability / Errors & Omissions: Can the County confirm whether the
Professional Liability / Errors & Omissions insurance requirement applies to this
transportation services solicitation, and if so, what exposure or service function is
intended to cover? The RFP lists E&O coverage at $1,000,000 per claim or occurrence
and $3,000,000 annual aggregate. Professional Liability / Errors & Omissions insurance
is required to ensure appropriate coverage for any
potential risks arising from these services.
2. Under department requirements, 3- Is there an attachment? If so, would you share where it
can be found? The attachment can be found on the Shelby County website along with the
RFP document.
3. Is there an estimated mileage per trip Average utilization is previously described in
questions & answers document no.1; we don’t track mileage.
4. Is there an incumbent? If so, may I ask who that incumbent is and the contract number for
the incumbent? Please submit a public records request.
5. As an incorporated business with only 1 employee, how do I address E-Verify? Go online and
register via the E-Verify site.
6. If you have a business license with the City of Memphis, do you still need a separate
Business License with the County? A business license in the City of Memphis is a Shelby
County Business License.
Sincerely,
Signature on original file
