Design Services for Facilities Maintenance Shop
The City of Greenville is requesting proposals from experienced and qualified planning/design consultants and/or similar professionally qualified consultants to provide comprehensive design and construction administration services for the construction of a new shop building for City of Greenville’s Facilities Maintenance Division. It is anticipated this project will utilize the design disciplines of Architecture, MEP Engineering, Civil Engineering, and Landscape Architecture. Services may also include other negotiated preconstruction tasks as needed.
The primary project elements include, but are not limited to, the design of an anticipated 7200 SF standalone shop building with programmed space for offices, conference room, general storage, restroom/locker room(s), breakroom, both dedicated and mixed-use shops, interior warehouse storage, adjoined exterior covered and fenced storage, dedicated chemical room; site improvements such as grading, paving, parking, stormwater/drainage, utilities, site lighting, security, and a formalized CDL training course element.
The overall design intent is to match construction techniques/methods/materials and the aesthetic of the existing complex buildings to ensure the complex’s visual cohesion, system interoperability, and ease of use and maintenance.

Proposals will be received electronically until 2:00 P.M. ET, March 7, 2025. The deadline for questions is 2:00 p.m., February 21, 2025.
