Emergency Extension from 1.4.25 to 6.30.25 of the Illinois Vital Records System (IVRS) which is a customized software system that allows State of Illinois to maintain vital event data. The system provides hospitals, clinics, funeral directors, physicians, medical examiners, coroners, and local county registrars a way to enter data associated with the registration of births and deaths. Maintenance is needed to allow the current classic system to be maintained and computer issues fixed while the conversion to the new NX version is implemented. The maintenance contact also allows for the weekly and monthly updates to be pushed out to our classic system to fix bugs and make improvements to ease use and processing. The maintenance contact will be in use to allow our 6000+ partners to continue the use of IVRS while awaiting conversion to the new system.
