Vertical Tire Carousel Storage System

The City of Pasadena Department of Public Works, Building Systems and Fleet Management Division (BSFMD) is seeking a qualified vendor to furnish, deliver, and install one (1) vertical tire carousel storage system for fleet tire storage operations.

The City intends to purchase a Vidir Model HT54319-1063-12 Vertical Tire Carousel or approved equal. Equivalent systems will be considered provided they meet or exceed the City's operational , dimensional, safety, and storage requirements.

BSFMD maintains and services a large municipal fleet consisting of light-duty vehicles, heavy-duty trucks, emergency response vehicles, and specialized equipment. Existing tire storage methods consume significant floor space and require manual handling practices that reduce operational efficiently. The City is seeking a vertical tire carousel system to maximize vertical storage capacity, improve organization, enhance workplace safety, and improve tire retrieval efficiently within the fleet maintenance facility.

The referenced Vidir Model HT54319-1063-12 system is capable of storing approximately 130 tires with a maximum tire diameter of 44 inches and utilizes a motorized vertical carousel design to improve accessibility and reduce manual lifting.
