RV and Heavy-Duty Vehicle Specialized Outfitting Maintenance, Repair, and Support Services

The City of Pasadena Department of Public Works, Building Systems and Fleet Management Division (BSFMD), is seeking a qualified vendor to provide specialized maintenance, repair, and support services for step van and mobile workshop vehicles equipped with RV-style auxiliary systems and heavy-duty vehicle outfitting components. These vehicles function as mobile workshops and contain specialized electrical, auxiliary power, ventilation, and onboard support systems requiring specialized service capabilities beyond standard fleet maintenance. Services will be as-needed for the Fiscal Year 2027.

The City of Pasadena operates and manages approximately 1,100 vehicles and equipment units in its Fleet. The City maintains specialized step vans that are utilized as mobile workshop and field support vehicles. These vehicles contain RV-style electrical and auxiliary systems including onboard generators, battery banks, ventilation systems, auxiliary charging systems, roof-mounted equipment, and power distribution components. The City is seeking a vendor capable of diagnosing, maintaining, repairing, and supporting these specialized systems to ensure operational reliability and field readiness.
