Bid Synopsis: The Department of Health Services (DHS), Division of Public Health (DPH), is seeking to contract with a vendor to provide measured data, based on the Healthcare Effectiveness Data and Information Set (HEDIS) technical specifications. HEDIS measures are used to accredit health plans and evaluate the quality of care. This data is not exempt from public records disclosure but would be reviewed on an individual basis based on information requested. Using HEDIS allows DPH to standardize data collection and directly compare performance across health plans as a basis for quality improvement initiatives. This data will facilitate the Chronic Disease Quality Improvement Project (CDQIP) in collaboration with Wisconsin Health Plans.
