Diversity, Equity and Inclusion (DEI) Vision
The Department of Natural Resources (DNR) is an organization that provides equitable natural resource management, conservation, sustainable economic use of natural resources and outdoor experiences for all Minnesotans through embedding diversity, equity and inclusion best practices in policies, programs, and services. Promotion of diversity, equity and inclusion is a shared responsibility of DNR staff and leadership to ensure the health of the natural resources and social systems that support our thriving communities.

DEI Values
The DNR values a diverse, inclusive, and culturally competent workforce that is empowered to provide high quality services to customers through:
