Playground Slide

General Statement:

This is a combined synopsis/soliciation for commercial items issued by the 23rd Contracting Squadron, Moody AFB, Georgia. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation being issued for the requirement described herein.

The solicitation number for this procurement is FA483025Q0044 and it is issued as a Request for Quotation (RFQ).

23d FSS requires the full replacement of the playground slide at Mission Lake (Moody AFB).

Replacements:

360 Degree 9' Slide at Mission Lake Playground (Moody AFB, GA)

o Overall Dimensions and Manufacturer

§ Current Slide Manufacturer: "PlayWorld Preferred". Not required to be PlayWorld but must fit/integrate with the current playground set.

§ Height: 9'

§ 360 Degree, Fully Enclosed

o Material Needed

§ 30” Round Tube Slide Entrance/Exit (1 EA)

§ 30” Round Left Tube Section (6 EA)

§ 30” Round Straight Tube Section (1 EA)

§ Round Spiral Tube Slide Bent Leg (1 EA)

§ Round Tube Slide Support Leg 4' (1 EA)

§ Hardware needed to secure the tubing sections (e.g. bolts, nuts, and screws)

• Must Include:

- All required equipment, tools, materials, including but not limited to aquatic vehicles, storage for materials, forklifts, cranes,

- Fees to obtain any relative permits (i.e. Dig permits)

- All required demolition

- Own dumpster for disposal

- Removal of all waste

- All required construction to include but not limited to slide tubing and support leg

- All required transportation/travel

Standard 1-year warranty to be provided by Contractor.

All References to “offer” or “offeror” in the clauses and provisions incorporated below are deemed to have the meaning of “quotation” and “quoter” respectively. Any quotation received in response to this RFQ is not binding until the contractor either signs the purchase order issued at time of award or starts of performance.

IAW FAR 52.212-2, Evaluation-Commercial Items, the Government will award a contract to the offeror whose offer is judged to represent the best value to the Government based on price, technical acceptability, and past performance records.

“Notice to Offeror(s)/Supplier(s): The Government reserves the right to cancel this solicitation, either before or after the closing date. In the event the Government cancels this solicitation, the Government has no obligation to reimburse an offeror for any costs.”
