Notes	GENERAL: Olathe Public Schools (the “District”) is soliciting bids for the purchase of two (2) ADA-compliant ramps. Bidders (herein referred to as “Contractors”) shall submit bids in accordance with the instructions, terms and conditions, and specifications provided in this Request for Bids (RFB). SCOPE OF WORK: The District intends to purchase two (2) ADA-compliant ramps as detailed in the Line Items section of this RFB. Contractors shall provide pricing for a complete, functional ramp system, including all components necessary for safe and compliant use. Shipping and freight costs shall be provided as a separate line item. Products shall meet or exceed the minimum specifications identified in the Line Items section. Alternate products may be considered provided they meet or exceed the stated performance, safety, accessibility, and functional requirements. DELIVERY REQUIREMENTS: Contractor shall coordinate delivery with the District and ensure timely fulfillment. The Contractor shall provide estimated lead time with its bid and coordinate the delivery date and location with the District prior to shipment. PRODUCT REQUIREMENTS: Unless otherwise specified: All products shall be new and in original packaging. Products shall meet all applicable federal, state, and local accessibility, safety, and building code requirements. Contractor shall provide all components necessary for a complete and functional system. Any proposed alternate product must receive written approval from the District prior to bid submittal. Requests for approval shall clearly identify the proposed manufacturer, model, specifications, and any relevant product documentation. Please send Requests for approval to asmith@olatheschools.org The District reserves the right to determine whether a proposed alternate product meets the requirements of this RFB. Bids containing alternate products that have not received prior written approval from the District may be considered non-responsive.
