SLAC B750 Clean Room Project – Design-Bid-Build

SLAC is looking to create a clean working environment for the fabrication of critical equipment that will be used in the next phase of LCLS II HE in 2026. For SLAC to build the required materials a space is needed to ensure a stable controlled setting to allow the work to commence.

This project consists of building out a 900 square foot class 100K cleanroom (assembly room) module and the installation of a new air handling unit inside B750 at SLAC. To do this the project requires the installation of a prefabricated equipment assembly room furnished by SLAC. The room will consist of a gowning room, cleanroom and assembly room. All required utilities to meet the standards set forth by the end users as called out on the Room Data Sheet will be installed and connected as part of this project.
