Description:	The City of Glendora invites qualified planning consulting firms to submit proposals to prepare a comprehensive update to the City’s General Plan and associated Elements, excluding the Housing Element. This update will modernize Glendora’s vision for growth, sustainability, resilience, and community well-being through the year 2050. It will integrate State General Plan Guidelines, address emerging issues, and incorporate a robust, inclusive community engagement strategy to ensure the Plan reflects the voices and values of all residents. The General Plan Update will unify all required and optional elements into an integrated, data-driven, and visually cohesive plan that links land use, mobility, conservation, open space, air quality, safety, historic preservation, and community health in a clear, implementation-oriented framework. The total project budget shall not exceed $2 million, with an anticipated timeline of three to five years. The City seeks a motivated, collaborative, and creative consulting team that can independently manage tasks, produce organized and accessible work, and deliver a document that articulates a clear, community-driven vision for Glendora’s future.
