Description

This sources sought is posted by the Government agency seeking responsible sources for a project. This notice is not a solicitation for work or a request for proposal. The purpose is to identify interested and capable vendors to perform the work described below and to incorporate the results into the Government's Market Research Report.

The 354th Contracting Squadron is seeking qualification packages and past performance information from vendors interested in providing professional architect and engineering services at Eielson AFB, AK to replace the existing pole-mounted transformers at B1306 with a pad mounted transformer, replace existing interior and exterior lighting fixtures, heated bollard outlet (HBO panelboard). Jack’s House (B1306) at Eielson AFB, AK was constructed in 1965 and its pole-mounted transformer is becoming increasingly hard to maintain.

The facility currently has a 150 kVA pole-mounted transformer which must be replaced with a pad-mounted transformer for easier maintenance and to be in compliance with UFC 3-550-01. Additionally, the building requires new interior and exterior lighting and new heated bollard outlets (HBO) and associated panelboards. The project acknowledges the extreme Arctic conditions. Review the "Jacks House SOW 1 Aug 25" for additional details and specifics on the project.
