Description

The requirement is to provide HEPA HOMEMATE HOM-1630L2 dehumidifiers for use at residences within the Embassy Bangkok housing pool. The estimated value for the entire period of performance is $57,500. These supplies/services require that 250 HEPA HOMEMATE HOM-1630L2 dehumidifiers be delivered for use in Embassy housing. This will allow the Office of GSO/Housing to replace broken dehumidifiers with a model that is known to perform well and for which facilities staff has experience for maintaining.

Post currently owns multiple brands of dehumidifier for use in residences. Of the models used, HEPA HOMEMATE HOM-1630L2 model is the most reliable. Post wishes to replace the broken inventory of other model dehumidifiers with HEPA HOMEMATE HOM-1630L2 for uniformity which will improve standard of living in Embassy housing and allow for reduced costs for maintenance of dehumidifiers. Other models will continue to be used but phased out as they fail/break from extended use.
