Solicitation Document Description: The project involves bridge deck replacement, girder repairs and modifications, steel recoating, bearing replacements, and substructure bent rehabilitation on Gardiner Expressway from Grand Magazine Street to Spadina Avenue (Bent#91 to Bent# 145), including the following two (2) ramps
-        Gardiner westbound on-ramp from Spadina Avenue
-        Gardiner eastbound off-ramp to Spadina Avenue

The rehabilitation will be realized through a Design-Build (DB) method of procurement, which will commence with a Request for Qualifications.

The Project scope includes all design, construction, management, and other specialty services required to perform the work, including but not limited to the following:
-        Design and construction of deck replacement, girder repairs and modifications, steel recoating and bearing replacement.
-        Design and construction of necessary modification and rehabilitation of existing substructures, including patch repairs, refacing and galvanic corrosion protection.
-        Design, coordination, relocation, reinstatement, and upgrading of illumination, utility, signage, and traffic signals, RESCU, and associated electrical/power works.
-        Quality control during design and construction.
-        Traffic and construction staging and management.
-        All works related to replacements and upgrades to bridge drainage and associated storm water management infrastructure; and
-        Environmental and soil management measures.
Specific Conditions for Procurement: The Submission Deadline will be 12:00 p.m. local time in Toronto on Submission Deadline date.
