This solicitation is for a Firm-Fixed-Price (FFP) design-build contract. The Contractor is to provide all design, labor, materials, equipment, and supervision to perform for project LXEZ241013, Repair HVAC in PAX Terminal, B3409 Kadena Air Base, Okinawa Japan. The solicitation is competitive and unrestricted. Design-build performance will include replacing air handling units, associated supply/return ductwork, registers, grilles, piping, gate valves, insulation, digital direct controls, fire dampers, and installing additional split units. Testing, adjusting, and balancing (TAB) and commissioning of the mechanical system as required to ensure operational capabilities meet federal and industry standards. Asbestos Containing Material (ACM) and Lead-Based Paint (LBP) have been detected in the facility.
PROJECT MAGNITUDE: Estimated $500,000 to $1,000,000 (or Yen Equivalent)
Project performance will be conducted entirety in the country of Japan. The successful offerer is required to be business licensed and registered to perform construction in the country of Japan.
The tentative Performance Period for the project is 692 Calendar days.
LOCATION OF WORK: Okinawa Japan
