The intent of this Request for Proposal (RFP) is for the County of Loudoun, Virginia (County) to obtain the services of qualified engineering firms to establish one (1) or more fixed-fee, open-ended contracts for Professional Engineering Services in support of the Countyâs Stormwater Management Program. Services will be provided on an as needed basis for a one (1) year period with up to three (3) additional one (1)-year renewal options.The number of contracts awarded will depend on the number and quality of the proposals received, with a maximum of five (5) contracts. A County issued Purchase Order (PO) will precede the start of work for each individual task.Firms must demonstrate strong project management capabilities and technical competence in supporting stormwater programs that meet the Virginia Pollutant Discharge Elimination System (VPDES) Phase II Municipal Separate Storm Sewer System (MS4) General Permit requirements. Experience in the development, design, and implementation of Best Management Practices (BMPs) is essential.
