Simpkins Field Town Common: Planning & Design Consultant

The Town of Yarmouth hereby requests proposals from qualified professional firms to provide planning, landscape architecture, engineering, and design consulting services for the feasibility study, conceptual design, and cost estimation associated with the creation of a Town Common at Simpkins Field in South Yarmouth, in accordance with the specifications set forth in this Request for Proposals (RFP).

This solicitation is being conducted in accordance with the provisions of Massachusetts General Laws, Chapter 30B, Uniform Procurement Act, Section 6. The contract will be awarded in accordance with the requirements of Chapter 30B. If it becomes necessary to revise any part of this RFP or provide additional information, the Town will issue a written addendum.

Copies of the Request for Proposals (RFP) will be available beginning September 1, 2026, on the Town of Yarmouth website at https://yarmouth.ma.us/bids.aspx.

A response to this RFP must consist of a separate Technical Proposal and a separate Price Proposal, each submitted in a separately sealed envelope. Respondents shall comply with the submission requirements and instructions contained in this RFP. Failure to do so may result in the proposal being deemed nonresponsive.

Proposals must be received by the Town Administrator's Office, Yarmouth Town Hall, 1146 Route 28, South Yarmouth, MA 02664, no later than 3:00 p.m. on October 1, 2026. Technical Proposals will be opened privately in accordance with M.G.L. c. 30B.

The Town of Yarmouth reserves the right to cancel this RFP, reject any or all proposals, waive minor informalities, or take any other action deemed to be in the best interest of the Town, consistent with applicable law.
