The Federal Bureau of Prisons (BOP) anticipates issuance of solicitation 15B10626Q00000017 for the award of a firm fixed-price contract entitled BUT INTERIOR REPAIRS at Federal Correctional Complex (FCC) Butner.

FCC Butner is a federal correctional complex located at Old NC Hwy 75, Butner, North Carolina 27509. The project consists of furnishing all equipment, materials, labor, and supervision for the complete installation of a high-performance resinous flooring system at three separate areas of the facility, each treated as an independent phase. The purpose of the project is to install a textured, hand-troweled urethane urea mortar system that is seamless, durable, chemical-resistant, slip-resistant and thermally stable flooring system suitable for heavy-use institutional environments at the LSCI, FCI-I, and the FCI-2 Food Service Kitchen Area.

The performance period for the project will be 91 calendar days from issuance of the signed contract award.

The solicitation will be available approximately on or about June 9, 2026. The solicitation will be distributed solely through the System for Award Management (SAM) website at www.sam.gov. Hard copies of the solicitation will not be made available. The website provides download instructions. Any secure/locked documents (if applicable) uploaded with the solicitation will require an active SAM registration for access. The NAICS code for this requirement is 238330 with a corresponding small business size standard of $19 million.

IMPORTANT: Any contractor interested in obtaining a contract award with the Federal Bureau of Prisons must be registered in the System for Award Management (SAM) at www.sam.gov. In order to qualify for award, your business size metrics information entered in your SAM registration must be less than or equal to the small business size standard specified above.
