The City of Attleboro invites sealed bids, in accordance with MGL c.30 §39M, for the purchase of one hundred twenty (120) Mueller A-423 hydrants which include all necessary connection hardware. Orders will be placed in increments of approximately ten (10) units throughout the contract period, which concludes on June 30, 2027. No contract renewals will be issued. The successful vendor will be responsible for providing all required specifications, terms associated services to ensure full compatibility and functionality. All equipment must be delivered within a week or two of order date and delivery price needs to be included.
Bids will be received until 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday, March 4, 2026 in the Purchasing Office, Attleboro City Hall, 77 Park St, Attleboro, MA 02703. Envelopes shall be sealed and plainly marked “BID: Mueller A423 Hydrants”. All bids must remain in effect for forty-five (45) days Saturdays, Sundays and Legal Holidays excluded. The City of Attleboro reserves the right to reject any bid or portion of a bid, to waive any informalities in a bid and to award contract as shall be deemed in the best interest of the City. Award of contract may be subject to the availability of funding.

The IFB is also available from Attleboro City Hall, Purchasing Office, 77 Park Street, Attleboro, MA 02703. Fill out Plan Holders Form to view and download the bid documents and to get notified of any addendums. Addendums will be emailed to the email address provided as well as posted under this advertisement.
