2025 Sewer System Rehabilitation – Lower Main Interceptor CIPP Lining Repair

The work for which bids are invited consists of furnishing and constructing is generally described as follows:

1. Clean, television inspect and digital audio-visual record six (6) sections of the existing Lower Main

Interceptor and make all investigations of the existing Lower Main Interceptor pipe requiring

reconstruction.

2. Remove and dispose of all debris, sediment, silts, refuse, timber, roots, and materials of all kinds

which cab be removed by conventional non-excavation type piping cleaning equipment located in

the existing interceptor sewers and manholes. Protruding service connections shall be removed.

3. Provide flow bypass lines and pumps for the diversion of flow of existing sewers upstream of the

pipe to be lined.

4. Reconstruct six (6) sections of the existing Lower Main Interceptor sewers with Glass Reinforced

Plastic, UV Cured-in-Place Pipe (GRP-UV CIPP) Lining method.

5. Re-open all existing active service connections and those inactive connections ordered by the

Engineer, and perform a final television inspection and digital audio-visual recording of the newly

lined interceptor sewer including the restored service connections.
