Subject to conditions prescribed by the University of California, Los Angeles, sealed bids for a Job Order Contract from prequalified bidders are invited for the following work:
The University is seeking to hire a contractor to perform general site work including fencing, hardscape, earthwork, paving, ornamental metals, and site utilities (sewer, storm & water), as well as vehicle gate repairs and replacements. Work will be delivered via Job Order Contracting (JOC) and occurring at UCLA On-Campus Housing and Off-Campus University Apartments Facilities as well as the UCLA Lake Arrowhead Lodge. A list of University buildings applicable to this scope is contained in the bidding documents. Work applicable to this contract includes without limitation: New Installations, repairs, and corrective work to hardscape and paving, astroturf, site utilities, existing vehicle gates and fencing which includes chain-link fencing including chain-link, mesh, decorative metal security fences, posts, footings, both pedestrian and vehicle gates, and accessories. Accessories include ADA truncated domes, incidental signage, incidental landscape, gate and fence closing mechanisms, screening materials (fabric & perforated metal), locking, latching and drop rod systems on gates, metal post finials, tension bands, stretcher bars, truss rods, exit devices, provisions for master keying, and barbed wiring. Individual Job Orders will be valued between $2,500.00 and $300,000.00. The Job Order Contract will have a Maximum Contract Value of $1,000,000.00 for the 1-year Base Term, and $1,000,000.00 for each 1-year Option Term, if exercised by the University.
