The Minnesota Department of Health (MDH) intends to make a onetime purchase with Phenova Inc to provide Proficiency testing (PT) and Quality Control testing (QC) samples in whole volume format for our neurobiological testing.
This purchase has been deemed a single source as Phenova Inc is the only vendor identified that can provide this in the whole volume format. Other microbiological quality control samples are in a concentrated form that require dilutions. Our Drinking Water Protection Laboratories and staff are not equipped or trained in preparing lyophilized samples.
