This Request for Proposals (the “RFP”) is an invitation by the Saskatchewan Power Corporation (“SaskPower”) to prospective proponents to submit proposals for the provision of the LN - TC5 Rebuild – 72 kV Mod-Phase 2 as further described in the RFP Particulars (Appendix A) (the “ Work”).
SaskPower is a Saskatchewan Crown Corporation continued under The Power Corporation Act (Saskatchewan). It is principally responsible for the generation, transmission and distribution of electricity for most of Saskatchewan.
This is the second phase of the sustainment project that is required to maintain acceptable reliability on the TC5, 72 kV line, which supplies the Timber Cove, Weyakwin, Montreal River and La Ronge substations. The project includes construction of a new line build (T61 series self-weathering steel structures) and the salvage of the existing wood structures.
