Shand Powerhouse Industrial Heaters Supply
Synopsis:

This Request for Proposals (the “RFP”) is an invitation by the Saskatchewan Power Corporation (“SaskPower”) to prospective proponents to submit proposals for the provision of Shand Powerhouse Industrial Heaters, as further described in the RFP Particulars (Appendix A) (the “ Work”).

SaskPower is a Saskatchewan Crown Corporation continued under The Power Corporation Act (Saskatchewan). It is principally responsible for the generation, transmission and distribution of electricity for most of Saskatchewan.

SaskPower is aiming to procure 14 heaters for the Shand Power Station. The Shand Power Station is a coal fired electric generating facility consisting of 1 unit with a capacity of 300 megawatts. The scope of the project includes the following:

Design, manufacture, supply and deliver 14 heaters to Site for the replacement of existing heaters in the powerhouse.
Provide technical advisory services to instruct SaskPower’s installation contractor regarding assembly and installation of heaters at Site.
Provide technical advisory services to assist SaskPower in the commissioning of heaters at Site. Technical advisor shall be factory trained representative from manufacturer.
Provide technical advisory services to train SaskPower in the operation of heaters at Site.
