ADVERTISEMENT FOR PROPOSALS
PUBLIC FERRY CROSSING SERVICES
The Warren County Board of Supervisors will receive sealed proposals for the opera(cid:415)on, management,
and maintenance of a public ferry crossing service.
Proposals will be received by the Warren County Purchasing Department, located at 913 Jackson
Street, Vicksburg, MS 39183, un(cid:415)l 10:00 am on Friday, May 1, 2026, at which (cid:415)me all proposals will be
publicly opened and recorded.
The purpose of this Request for Proposals (RFP) is to secure a qualified contractor to provide safe,
reliable, and con(cid:415)nuous ferry transporta(cid:415)on services for passengers across the Yazoo Diversion Canal
at Kings Point Road crossing within Warren County.
Interested par(cid:415)es may obtain a complete copy of the RFP specifica(cid:415)ons from the Warren County
Purchasing Department at the address listed above or by contac(cid:415)ng the Purchasing Agent at
victoriab@warrencountyms.gov or 601.638.7428.
All proposals must be submi(cid:425)ed in a sealed envelope and clearly marked:
"RFP - Public Ferry Crossing Services."
Proposers must comply with all applicable federal, state, and local laws, including Mississippi Code
Annotated 31-7-13.
The Warren County Board of Supervisors reserves the right to reject any and all proposals, to waive
informali(cid:415)es, and to accept the proposal deemed to be in the best interest of the County.
