(one) Hydraulic Excavator

ADVERTISEMENT FOR BIDS
The Mayor and Board of Aldermen/Alderwoman of Brookhaven, MS shall
receive unpriced bid proposals for (one) Hydraulic Excavator until 10:00 A.M. on
July 20, 2026, by electronic bid submission. Submissions will be evaluated and
vendors submitting acceptable offers will be invited to submit priced bids. Reverse
auction bids can be submitted at www.centralbidding.com. For any questions
relating to the electronic bidding process, please call Central Bidding at 225-810-
4814.
Approved bidders will participate in the bidding that will be held by
electronic reverse auction on Thursday, July 23, 2026, from 10:00 A.M. to 10:30
A.M. Specifications and procedures are available by contacting Purchasing Agent
James Laird jlaird@brookhaven-ms.gov or by contacting www.centralbidding.com.
All bids must comply with specifications provided. The City of Brookhaven reserves
the right to amend the specifications as necessary and agrees to notify all having
requested bid packets.
The City reserves the right to extend the auction date if necessary to
complete the pre-qualification process. All written bids submitted must be sealed
and clearly labeled "(One) Hydraulic Excavator" on the outside of the bid envelope
and delivered to City Clerk Mavis Stewart, 101 West Chickasaw Street,
Brookhaven, MS 39601 or electronic bids can be submitted at
www.centralbidding.com.
The City reserves the right to reject any and all bids and wave any informalities.
