Dewberry Lane Erosion Repair

Greenville County is requesting sealed bids for the Dewberry Lane Erosion Repair according to the specifications attached to this IFB.

During Tropical Storm Helene, the downstream end of the 96" CMP culvert on Dewberry Lane adjacent to 101 Sturbrdge Dr. experienced extreme erosion. We wish to reestablish and reinforce the downstream end of the culvert to repair the area, prevent future erosion, and to protect the road, culvert, and utilities. In order to do this, we want to place large boulders at the downstream end of the culvert extending approximately 40' downstream on both sides of the channel. Along with the boulders, we'd like to place a shallow J-hook or cross-vane on the downstream side of the exposed 8" ductile iron sewer main that crosses the channel downstream of the culvert. All boulders will be placed on nonwoven geotextile fabric. Rip rap will be placed to fill gaps between the boulders.
