The project delivery method for construction is bid-build. The Project includes construction of a 1.3 million gallon per day water treatment plant (WTP), including the WTP building, well pump replacement, influent and effluent pipelines, cartridge filtration, granular activated carbon vessels for PFAS removal, finished water clearwells, backwash residuals holding tank, chemical storage facilities, appurtenant work, and two additive alternates; one for a detached garage and one for rooftop solar panels. The work also includes, but is not limited to, decommissioning of the existing WTP, SCADA system, site utilities including electrical system upgrade including replacing overhead electric with underground electric and a new standby generator. HVAC, fire protection sprinkler and fire alarm systems, security system, interior and exterior lighting, painting, and plumbing are included.
