Description: SUNY Cortland is requesting sealed proposals from responsible bidders to probide solid waste removal and recycling services to SUNY Cortland dormitories, academic buildings, administrative and support buildings following schedules determined by SUNY Cortland. The contractor will provide all necessary containers. The contractor shall obtain, maintain, and pay for all permits and licenses legally required and shall give all notices, pay all fees, and comply with all laws, rules, and regulations applicable to the work. SUNY Cortland requires the contractor to pick up at all points as specified on an exclusive basis. The contractor will obtain receipts from the landfill each day to verify charges. All tipping fees will be added to the contractor's invoice as a separate item each month (weight receipts to be attached). Only qualified bidders will be eligible for award. Each bidder shall submit, with the Proposal, supporting documentation regarding the qualifications of the Contractor. An optional pre-bid conference/site visit is scheduled for Wednesday, February 19th, 2025, at 10:00AM. The conference will be located at SUNY Cortland, Service Group Building, Conference Room.
