This Request for Information (RFI) is hereby amended to provide responses to the questions, provide a revised RFI notice, and to provide an extension to the due date for submission. The new date for submission has been extended until November 29, 2024 at 12:00PM EST and shall be e-mailed to postellbj@state.gov.
This concludes the question and answer period, no additional question will be addressed at this time.
This is a Request for Information (RFI) as outlined in FAR Subpart 8.4. The purpose of this RFI is to accomplish market research pursuant to Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Part 10, and to identify vendors capable of performing the functions described herein. The purpose of this document may also serve to establish a Blanket Purchase Agreement (BPA) with one vendor to provide IT-related performance auditing services to the Office of Inspector General (OIG) for the Department of State (Department) and the United States Agency for Global Media (USAGM) [formerly the Broadcasting Board of Governors]. The effort in support of the resultant Blanket Purchase Agreement (BPA) will be to assist the OIG in determining the effectiveness of the Department’s and USAGM’s information security programs and practices. In turn, this information will be used to assist OIG in complying with the requirements of the Federal Information Security Modernization Act of 2014 (FISMA).
This notice is issued solely for information and planning purposes and does not constitue a Request for Proposal (RFP) or a commitment onthepartofthe Government to conduct a solicitation for the indentified services in the future. Respondents are advised that the Government will not pay for information submitted in response to this RFI, nor will it compensate respondents for any costs incurred in the development/furnishing of a response.
Please note that a decisioin not to submit a response to this RFI will not preclude a vendor from participating in any future solicitation.
