ADVERTISEMENT FOR BID

Sealed bids for Annual Parks and Golf Tree Trimming/Tree Removal Project will be accepted at the Naperville Park District – Administrative Building, 320 W. Jackson Ave., Naperville, Illinois 60540, until Thursday, September 10, 2026, at 10:00 am, at which time bids will be publicly opened and read aloud.

Bid documents can be found on the DemandStar.com (OpenBids) website or may be obtained upon request. Request for digital bid documents must be submitted to Tristin Toures by email at ttoures@napervilleparks.org. All necessary bid documents will be emailed at no cost. Hard copies are not available.

The work consists of furnishing of all labor, supervision, materials, tools, equipment, incidentals, and expertise necessary for the following ten tree operations: Overstory Tree Pruning - Parks, Overstory Tree Pruning – Golf, Tree Removal - Parks, Tree Removal – Golf, Selective Branch Removal, Chipping, Trunk Removal, Site Clearing (Selective), Mulching (Selective), and Large-Scale Forestry Mulching (Optional).

Requirements for Performance and Bid Bonds

1. A bid bond is not required for this project.

2. If a bid is accepted, the Contractor will be required to file a written substance abuse prevention program with the Owner for the prevention of substance abuse among its employees prior to the commencement of the work. Said program shall be available to the general public.

Award of Contract
It is anticipated that the contract will be awarded in December 2026. The Park District reserves the right to reject any non-responsive or non-responsible Bids or to reject all bids and waive any informality or technicality in any Bid in the interest of the Park District.
