ADVERTISEMENT FOR BID

Sealed bids for Annual Pond Maintenance Services will be accepted at the Naperville Park District Central Maintenance Facility, 427 W. Martin Ave., Naperville, Illinois 60540, until Wednesday, September 9, 2026, at 10:00 am, at which time bids will be publicly opened and read aloud.

Bid documents can be found on the DemandStar.com (OpenBids) website or may be obtained upon request. Request for digital bid documents must be submitted to Tristin Toures by email at ttoures@napervilleparks.org . All necessary bid documents will be emailed at no cost. Hard copies are not available.

The work consists of pond maintenance service at various locations within the Naperville Park District for the 2027 season.

All questions concerning this project or those concerning bidding requirements should be directed to Clint Burnell by writing via email to cburnell@napervilleparks.org . Questions will be received only through Friday, September 4, 2026, at 10:00 am.

Requirements for Performance and Bid Bonds

1. A bid bond is not required for this project.

2. If a bid is accepted, the Contractor will be required to file a written substance abuse prevention program with the Owner for the prevention of substance abuse among its employees prior to the commencement of the work. Said program shall be available to the general public.

Award of Contract
It is anticipated that the contract will be awarded in December 2026. The Park District reserves the right to reject any non-responsive or non-responsible Bids or to reject all bids and waive any informality or technicality in any Bid in the interest of the Park District.
