Description: The New York State Department of Civil Service (Department or DCS) in consultation with the Joint Labor Management Committee (JLMC), has issued these Specifications to secure the services of qualified Health Maintenance Organizations (HMOs) for participation in the New York State Health Insurance Program (NYSHIP).
The Department expects to award Contracts to multiple qualified HMOs as a result of these Specifications.
The Specifications defines minimum contract requirements, details response requirements, and outlines the Department’s process for evaluating responses and selecting qualified organization(s). Project Services are set forth in detail in Section 3. Capitalized terms used herein shall have the meanings specified in the Glossary of Defined Terms (Attachment 13) or in the body of this solicitation.
