Project Description: Sealed Bids will be received by the Bethel Park Municipal Authority online via PennBid for WWTP-0002 REC Tank Project until 2:00 p.m., Local Time, May 13, 2026 at which time they will be opened online and publicly posted on PennBid's website. All documents and solicitation details are available online for no cost at PennBid (https://pennbid.bonfirehub.com).
Bids will be received for the following Work:
The installation of a complete rare earth chloride (REC) chemical dosing system and associated safety equipment including, but not limited to, concrete pads, storage tank, chemical metering pump, chemical piping, potable water line, tankless water heater, and an emergency shower and all associated plumbing, site, and electrical work required to successfully complete the project.

Each Bid will be accompanied by a bid bond, in the amount of at least ten (10) percent of the amount bid, drawn payable to Bethel Park Municipal Authority as security for the proper execution of the Agreement.
This project is subject to the provisions of the Pennsylvania Prevailing Wage Act (43 P.S. ยง 165-1 et seq.). The prevailing minimum wage rates as determined by the Pennsylvania Department of Labor and Industry are set forth in the Contract Documents and will apply to this project
The successful Bidder who is awarded the Contract, will be required to pay PennBID a fee of one-third of one (1) percent of the Contract value. The fee will be no less than $150 and no more than $6,000, not including tax, of the Contract award value.
Bethel Park Municipal Authority reserves the right to accept or reject any or all bids and to waive any informality in any bids should it consider same to be in its best interest.
Bids may not be withdrawn for the period of sixty (60) days after date of receiving bids.
