Project Bid Received By & Opening Information: NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Bids for the construction of Eden Prairie Backwash Tank Rehabilitation will be received online through QuestCDN vBid™ until Wednesday July 8, 2026 at 1:00 pm local time. Immediately following expiration of the time for receiving bids, representatives of the City of Eden Prairie will publicly view Bids at the City Hall. Those interested in viewing the online Bid opening are welcome to join the meeting by logging on to https://zoom.us/join or calling 1.301.715.8592 and entering Meeting ID 949 7292 1302 and Passcode 269763. The as-read online Bid results will be available at www.questcdn.com following the Bid opening.
Pre-Bid Meeting Info: A non-mandatory pre-bid conference for the Project will be held on July 1, 2026 at City of Eden Prairie, 14100 Technology Drive, Eden Prairie, Minnesota 55344. Attendance at the pre-bid conference is encouraged but not required.

Description: The Project includes the furnishing of all labor and materials for the construction complete in-place, of the cleaning, repairing, and painting of the existing backwash tanks, including structural modifications, surface repairs, interior abrasive blast and coatings, and exterior spot abrasive blast and overcoating.

  • 1        LS        Removal of the roof rafters from the interior that are attached to the shell stiffener angle
  • 300        LF        Caulk overlapped roof plate seams
  • 1        LS        Seal weld the Two Testing Plates
  • 1        LS        Replace manway gaskets
  • 1        LS        Caulk roof plate to shell rim angle
  • 1        LS        Install a new 30-inch round pressure style manway in the shell
  • 1        LS        Replace the upper section of the existing roof and install a new 24-inch vent
  • 1        LS        Install a new 24-inch roof manway
  • 1        LS        Remove the existing roof ladder
  • 1        LS        Install a new roof hand railing
  • 1        LS        Install a new Nameplate T-Bracket
  • 400        LF        Caulk the six (6) exterior shell Angles
