Description

This is not a solicitation at this time, but rather a Sources Sought to determine potential providers of industrial laundry and personal-protective clothing delivery services for a for diverse user-base at the Ogden Air Logistics Complex (OO-ALC) at Hill Air Force Base in Utah. Information gathered in this process will be utilized in the procurement planning phase of this aquisition.



A 5-year Indefinite Delivery, Indefinite Quantity contract is anticipated to be awarded in the first half of the 2027 calendar-year. The proposed North American Industry Classification Systems (NAICS) Code is 812332, which has a corresponding Small Business size limit of $47-million of annual company revenue.



Projected Scope: On a contractually established schedule, the provider will provide all neccessary personnel, equipment, material, supervision, facilities, transportation, and other items and services necessary to provide a diverse inventory of personal protection clothing to drop stations located throughout Hill AFB in a clean and serviceable condition.



A draft copy of the Performance Work Statement is attached below. It includes references to the clothing items currently provided.



Note: The contract will require compliance with the Berry Ammendment, and the service provider must be properly permitted by the State if Utah. All clothing involved will be required to meet or exceed standards of US Code 29 CFR 1910, and Clean Room garments will need to meet specifications of USAF Technical Order 00-25-203. Refer to the links below for additional details on these 4 specifications.



Interested and qualified parties are urged to respond to this notice and provide responses to the the following 5-7 items:




  1. The company's Legal Name and if applicable, active government CAGE code .

  2. The name of the primary point of contact, their email address & phone number, and if applicable, the firm's website URL.

  3. Any details regarding an existing small business designation or active certification issued by the US Small Business Administration (SBA).

  4. A summary of the firm's experience over the last 5 years in supplying and administering a personal protective clothing program for government agency or commercial business. If contracted by the US Government, please provide contract number(s).

  5. Indicate whether your firm would establish a teaming arrangement to support this proposed program. Delineate between the work that would be accomplished by the prime entity and the work that would be accomplished by the teaming partner(s).

  6. Optional: Describe one or more characteristics of the most effective personal protective clothing programs?

  7. Optional: Are there technological advances currently impacting personal protective clothing programs or the broader industrial laundry industry that the Government ought to be aware of?
