Bid Notice- Electronic Bid- Bid # 260008

The Village of Arlington Heights will accept sealed bids electronically for the Regency Court Lift Station Reconstruction until 1:00 p.m. local time on Thursday, April 2, 2026, at which time they will be publicly opened and read.

The above designated work and improvements referred to as REGENCY COURT LIFT STATION RECONSTRUCTION shall include selective demolition of existing can-type pump station; Construction of new wet well with duplex submersible pump operation including new wet well top with access hatch; Dewatering as required; Installation of new submersible solids handling pumps with constant speed drives and controls; Associated electrical and instrumentation work; New valve / meter / bypass vault; New electrical service; New traffic box control panel; New natural gas engine generator; Contractor bypass pumping as needed; Concrete generator and control panel pads; Concrete restoration; Site grading and landscape restoration. The locations for this work are shown in the Contract Documents. This work shall be to the requirements as indicated in the Contract Specifications.

A Non-Mandatory Pre-Bid Conference will be held on Thursday, March 19, 2026 at 10:00
a.m. at Village of Arlington Heights    Public Works, 222 N. Ridge Avenue, Arlington Heights, IL 60005.

The Affidavit of Availability must be submitted with the proposal, showing all uncompleted contracts awarded to them and all low bids pending award for Federal, State, County, Municipal and private work.

Bidders shall comply with the Prevailing Wage Rate Act (820 ILCS 130/), the IDOT Standard Specifications for Road and Bridge Construction, adopted January 1, 2022, the IDOT Supplemental Specifications and Recurring Special Provisions, adopted January 1, 2026, and the current edition of the Standard Specifications for Water and Sewer Construction in Illinois. Bidders will also be required to comply with the applicable equal employment opportunity provisions.

All proposals or bids offered must be accompanied by a bid security in the amount of 10% of the total bid in the form of a certified check, bid bond or    check made payable to the Village of Arlington Heights. No bids shall be considered unless accompanied by such security.

The Village of Arlington Heights reserves the right to reject any or all proposals, to waive informalities in bidding and to accept the proposal deemed by the Board of Trustees to be the most favorable to the interests of the Village.
