Bldg. 3 Roof Replacement-Stoneville, MS.

This is a pre-solicitation notice.

The USDA, Agricultural Research Service (ARS) Jamie Whitten Delta Research Center (JWDRC) located in Stoneville, MS., has a requirement for a new roof replacement on Bldg. 3. The work includes but is not limited to: The contractor shall supply all materials, labor, equipment, and supervision necessary to install a new PVC or approved equal roof for Building 3 and provide a 20 year, no dollar limit warranty. as per the Statement of Work (SoW). The project is located at the USDA-ARS-SEA, JWDSRC, 141 Experiment Station Road, Stoneville, MS. 38776. The contractor shall provide a detailed technical proposal and detailed cost breakdown for the entire project.

USDA ARS SEA intends to issue a Request for Proposals for a firm fixed priced contract. The solicitation is anticipated to be a Total Small Business Set-Aside. The NAICS code for this requirement is 236220 with a size standard of $45.0 M. Contractors shall not directly contact the facility to discuss this requirement. During the solicitation phase, contractors will be provided the opportunity for a site visit and to ask any relevant questions.

This notice is issued solely for information and planning purposes - it does not constitute the Request for Proposal (RFP). The Government anticipates issuing an RFP for this requirement on or about January 17, 2025. This notice does not commit the U.S. Government to contract for these services.
